Unlocking human potential people-centered management

Habitat for Humanity International announced today that Daikin North America LLC will donate $250,000 in funding and Daikin-brand HVAC systems and equipment to Habitat for Humanity affiliates across the United States and Canada.

As part of Daikin’s partnership with Habitat for Humanity, Daikin will donate heating and cooling equipment to support local residential Daikin Comfort Pros in installing new HVAC systems in Habitat homes. Daikin is committed to providing for purchase equipment at below cost rates for Habitat builds across the U.S. and Canada, with potential savings in excess of $1,000 per new house built.

“We are grateful to Daikin North America for their commitment to work with Habitat for Humanity to make affordable housing possible in partnership with low-income families,” said Colleen Ridenhour, Deputy Director, Corporate and Foundation Relations, for Habitat for Humanity International.

“Because of this generous gift, Habitat affiliates are now able to serve even more families in need of decent housing.”
